Fox Sports’ Tim Brando mentions upcoming film on AL McGuire

Marquette took down #4 UConn on Saturday, 68-62 in their final Big East regular season game of the year. During the game, Fox Sports veteran play by play announcer, Tim Brando, mentioned the upcoming film on AL McGUIRE. Brando paired up with McGuire at CBS to call a number of NCAA Tournament games and remembers Coach McGuire fondly.

A film office and incentive credits are coming to Wisconsin in 2026

Great news for the State of Wisconsin, the city of Milwaukee and the future production of The Confessions of Al McGuire. Governor Tony Evers signed the biennial bill on July 3rd that establishes a film office in the state under the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. As part of the budget, up to $5 million in film production and investment tax credits during each fiscal year starting in 2026. This was a bipartisan effort to lure production to the state and allow Wisconsin filmmakers to create their projects here. Jeffrey Kurz, a Producer on our film was part of the Action Wisconsin team that worked with the Wisconsin legislature to make this a reality.
