A biopic film, The Confessions of Al McGuire, with award winning potential that will celebrate the life of Al McGuire, college basketball’s one-of-a-kind Pied Piper. The story (1974 to 1977) of a unique, cherished person in Marquette history accomplishing one of the greatest sports feats in Wisconsin. The script captures the complexities of a man who cared for his players as human beings, brought out their best with tough love, suffered through continuous disappointments in pursuit of a championship, but finally won it all when it appeared his goal would remain elusive.  This is a positive film portraying the journey to the top.
